mBank launches the first FX platform developed entirely for the SME sector

Leader in online banking prepared a new solution for companies. Thanks to mPlatforma Walutowa (FX Platform) entrepreneurs will save not only money, but also time. Service is offered without any additional fees and it takes just a while to carry out a transaction. Additionally, the Bank guarantees support from dealers in foreign exchange.

mPlatforma Walutowa is a new tool in mBank's e-banking service. This solution is prepared for clients from the SME sector.- It is the most ergonomic and intuitive platform on the market. Two clicks are enough to carry out an FX transaction - says Jarosław Stefański, the manager of additional products division in the SME department at mBank. - Moreover, as opposed to the online exchange offices, the transaction is settled immediately and money is transferred onto the client's account straightaway without waiting for the transaction to be executed for long hours. Client does not have to log in a separate system, adds Stefański. Thanks to the integration of the service and e-banking which is used by a client on a daily basis all operations that are carried out are available in one place.

Adam Pers, the director of financial markets sales division at mBank, explains that, as opposed to competitive solutions, mBank has not decided to make their corporate solutions available to small enterprises. - mPlatforma Walutowa is a tool which from the very beginning was developed for small and medium-sized enterprises This service combines the state-of-the-art technology available in mBank's retail banking with the experience and price level available for the corporate market. Client obtains a full range of transactions that he needs: spot transactions as well as exchange rate offers - enumerates Pers.

- Although all FX transactions may be comfortably carried out online, as part of the service mBank guarantees each entrepreneur support from dealers in foreign exchange. As a source of information on the market, the dealer takes charge of observing the market situation instead of the client. The dealer will help with choosing the most favourable moment to carry out the transaction as well as support by negotiating prices for non-standard transactions - informs Jarosław Stefański from mBank.

mBank's mPlaforma Walutowa is distinguished by:
1. Simplicity – tool available directly in the transactional service. Client does not need any additional logins or passwords.
2. Speed – two clicks are enough to purchase or sale the currency. According to mBank's research, the client tends to check current currency quotation five times before he finally executes a transaction. Thanks to the maximum simplification of this process, clients of mPlaforma Walutowa save their precious time.
3. Bank's support – each client obtains support from the dealer who takes charge of observing the market situation and waiting for the best moments when the exchange rate is favourable for the client's company.
4. Flexibility – apart from the standard purchase/sell FX transaction, clients may submit exchange rate offers (transactions in which it is a client who defines the price he is interested in; if such a price is achieved on the market, the transaction is executed automatically).

mPlaforma Walutowa, developed entirely to meet the needs of SME sector, is an excellent supplement of mBank's e-banking awarded across the globe. In the scope of the service small and medium-sized enterprises have access to the new currency tool as well as to other innovative solutions. Companies as well as private clients would take advantage of mNawigacja finansowa (allowing to manage expenses more effectively) and among others Online Expert (i.e. a virtual department which is available round the clock).
