History
The bank (previously named BRE Bank) was founded over 27 years ago and was one of the pioneers in the field of corporate banking in Poland. In 2000, BRE Bank began to provide services to retail customers and the company launched a new brand called mBank, offering its services only on the internet. It was later joined by MultiBank, representing the traditional retail banking model. BRE Bank offered its services under three brands. In 2008 it entered the Czech and Slovak markets, operating there under the mBank brand.RebrandingIn 2013, the organisation that had been providing services to different groups of customers, ranging from young people, micro-enterprises, affluent individuals to the largest corporations, decided to stress the universal nature of its business by adopting one common brand – mBank. The three brands joined forces under the mBank brand, as it enjoyed the strongest recognition of all the members of the Group.
Vision
mBank’s vision of the future – "Powered by you" – is focused on customers' needs and intended to meet these needs adequately. In 2013, mBank presented the company’s new values and new image. Today’s goal is to build the most customer-friendly bank in Poland under the mBank logo displayed in different colours depending on the offering type.
