The Supervisory Board appointed Krzysztof Bratos for the position of Vice-President of the Management Board for Retail Banking.
Krzysztof Bratos will replace Cezary Kocik in this position, who was conditionally appointed to the position of president of management board on 5 June 2024 and is waiting for the decision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. This is part of a transparent succession process for the position of CEO, which has been organized in accordance with best corporate governance practices.
Krzysztof Bratos obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics from Poznan University of Economics with the major in computer science and econometrics. In addition, he has completed specialised programmes for management on Harvard Business School - General Management Program and High Potential Leadership Program.
Krzysztof Bratos has 18 years of banking experience, including 14 years on the managerial positions in the banking sector. He worked for global financial institutions based in London and New York (JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland, Kleinwort Benson), where he implemented new solutions in the area of management and business transformation programmes and led technology projects in investment banking.
Since 2015 he has been working in mBank Group, and over last 3 years in the position of the Managing Director of Private Banking and Brokerage Services, where he has been responsible for organisation and operations of private banking, brokerage activities and investment products offer for private banking clients.
