Andreas Böger, Vice-President of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer has resigned effective 30 April 2023. He will take on the position of Divisional Board Member responsible for Group Finance at Commerzbank.
Andreas Böger has been an exceptionally effective CFO in a challenging market environment. Under his leadership we have increased the profitability of our core business, improved the efficiency at which we invest capital, strengthened the manner we manage our balance sheet, and grown the remit of the finance function. I would like to thank him for nearly six years with mBank and congratulate him on the promotion to such a senior position within Commerzbank Group

Andreas Böger is CFO of mBank since 1 July 2017. Prior to this, he was Head of Corporate Finance within Commerzbank’s Group Development and Strategy function. He joined Commerzbank in 2013. Between 2003 and 2013, Mr. Böger was at Deutsche Bank in London and Frankfurt, most recently as Managing Director in Global Capital Markets and Capital Solutions Europe & CEEMEA. He started his career at HypoVereinsbank in Munich in 1994.

The Executive and Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board has recommended Mr. Pascal Ruhland for the role of Vice-President of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer. The appointment of Mr. Pascal Ruhland to the Bank's Management Board by the Supervisory Board is subject to a positive assessment of the candidate's suitability. Mr. Ruhland is currently Divisional CFO for the Corporate Clients Segment at Commerzbank AG. He also serves as a member of the supervisory board of CommerzTrust GmbH. His academic background includes executive education programs at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
