    Change at the Top of mBank’s Supervisory Board. Aleksandra Gren to become Chairwoman

    mBank’s Supervisory Board has elected Aleksandra Gren as its new Chairwoman. She will assume the position on 1 November 2026.

    Aleksandra Gren has been an independent member of mBank’s Supervisory Board since 2020. Since the establishment of the IT Committee in 2021, she has served as its Chairwoman. In this role, she has overseen areas related to the bank’s technology strategy, cybersecurity, ICT risk management, business continuity, and key technology initiatives.
    She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial and technology sectors, gained in both executive and supervisory roles. She began her career in 1995 at Royal Bank of Canada. She later took part in preparing the launch of ING Direct in the Italian market. For more than two decades, she has worked with American technology and fintech companies operating in Poland and across the EMEA region.
    She is an expert in technology transformation, cybersecurity, risk management, strategic oversight, and corporate governance. She has received numerous awards in Poland and abroad, including recognition in the Banking Technology Awards and the PayTech Leadership Awards in London. Her distinctions also include the “Business Personality of the Year 2021” award from the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs and the “Visionary of the Year” title from IT@Bank in 2025. In 2025, she was also awarded the Nicolaus Copernicus Medal by the Polish Bank Association for her contribution to the development and safe operation of the Polish banking sector.
    Aleksandra Gren graduated from the University of British Columbia and the London School of Economics. She also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business.

    Becoming Chairwoman of mBank’s Supervisory Board is both an honor and a great responsibility for me. Over the past six years, I have had the opportunity to get to know the bank, its people, and its unique organizational culture. mBank has strong foundations, and its newly implemented strategy, ‘Full Speed Ahead!’ for 2026-2030, sets an ambitious direction for growth based on technological innovation, stronger customer relationships, and responsible risk management. In my new role, I will focus on effective oversight of the strategy’s execution and on continuing to build long-term value for customers, shareholders, and employees. At the same time, I would like to thank Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska for her many years of commitment and valuable contribution to the work of the Supervisory Board and to the development of mBank - said Aleksandra Gren.

    Aleksandra Gren will assume the role of Chairwoman of mBank’s Supervisory Board on 1 November 2026. The appointment was made on 3 September 2026 and follows the resignation of Agnieszka Słomka-Gołębiowska.
