In Q2 2021 core income hovered near a record high, with net profit at PLN 108 million. The bank’s market shares in the household segment were also on the rise, while the number of companies served by Corporate Banking exceeded 30,000.
mBank’s core income was close to a record high, driven by accelerating growth in commission income and a recovery in interest income. mBank is one of the most efficient banks in the sector with a cost-to-income ratio of 42.5%.
mBank is the leading mobile banking provider in Poland. It ranks number one in terms of the share of mobile banking users in the total number of active clients. It sells as much as 23% of its non-mortgage loans in the mobile channel. In Q2 alone mBank clients made 60.5 million contactless mobile payments.
mBank’s market share is growing; currently the bank accounts for 7.6% of all loans to households. The number of corporate clients exceeded 30,000.
In H1 2021 the bank posted an income of PLN 2.98 billion. Profit stood at PLN 735.6 million, which represents a rise by nearly 100% compared to H1 2020.
